DOES PLEXUS WORK?

Reviewed by the Cooper Clinic.

Regarding research:
"Well they only have one study that hasn't been published and it's not peer reviewed, that's not a great sign.  It only had 8 people in the study. They're making millions. My argument is, you would want to invest some of that money in some research to really help your folks sell this, with something behind it."  

Regarding Ingredients:
"They want you to check with your physician first but your physician isn't going to know what's in this either".  

Bottom Line:
"The BBB has given this company a ranking of C, that's not great". 




I don't know about you, but I work too hard for my money to pay over $100 a month for a product that who knows what's in it (as they can change the formula without telling anyone, as I well know) or exactly where it comes from.

Like most MLM's out there, Beachbody hides between the lines....

WILL MLM SOON BE A THING (NIGHTMARE) OF THE PAST?

I found the article below quite interesting and for me, hopeful that this could bring multi-level marketing to a screeching halt. Far more have lost money through MLM than have gained. In most MLM's, people are mere pawns to help someone else make money. It took long time and a lot of loss, but I finally got it, which is why I'm an advocate to alert people to scams out there.

Lead Poisoning in Plexus Products!

Lead poisoning is a serious and sometimes fatal condition. It occurs when lead builds up in the body. Lead is a highly toxic metal and a very strong poison. 

Severe lead poisoning is treated with chelation therapy and EDTA. However, damage from lead poisoning cannot be reversed.

Still think Plexus is safe?  What about ETHICAL? 

"Trustworthy, Honest, Reliable, Responsible?"

THINK AGAIN!  

And no, regardless of what those sweet little tarnished diamonds say, this is not something that "happens all the time".

Is the fog beginning to lift?  Yes, people will sacrifice ANYTHING for enough money, even their integrity.

The truth is unraveling....

I was recently contacted by someone who asked me to look at some information about his company.  Below you will find my response to that and his last response to me.

Dear _____,  thanks for reaching out to me, but sounds like you are affiliated with direct sales/MLM/Network Marketing. After my Plexus Worldwide nightmare, I will NEVER do any type network marketing / direct sales or MLM again. I already fell for the "but this one is different" line. No offense to you, but at this point in my life I'm done with them, no matter what they promise. If you're interested, you can read more below and you'll understand why I feel the way I do. My blog is first on the list. You are more than welcome to share... hate to see others get taken by this company.

MLM Judgment Day...who's next?

Judgement day has arrived for Vemma. It is the end of Vemma as it once was.  Vemma was a Multi-level Marketing company.  It is no longer.

After the review of the case by the judge John J. Tuchi, here are some of the key orders and findings about Vemma:

The critical question for the FTC is whether the revenues that primarily support the commissions paid to all participants are generated from purchases of goods and services that are not simply incidental to the purchase of the right to participate in a moneymaking venture.

The evidence before the Court leaves little doubt that the FTC will ultimately succeed on the merits in demonstrating that Vemma is operating a pyramid scheme.  (read the rest of the story here)

The truth is, any MLM company I have been associated with, such as Plexus Worldwide, a person does not get to the top of the food chain or "Diamond" Ambassador by selling product.  You MUST grow your team by recruiting AND you don't get paid on those people you bring in unless they and you are "active" aka:  autoship turned on, minimum order of $100.  Take a look at their summary chart shown below (can also be accessed here).

Also, it states "For complete details, please refer to the "Full Plexus Compensation Plan". HOWEVER, what they DON'T tell you is there is much more than just the compensation plan, there is the good ole "policies and proceedures", but that's an episode for another day.

I was astounded by their severe lack of professionalism when I questioned rank removal of one of my team members, and received the most ignorant, unprofessional responses ever! And they call themselves a company????  They don't even know their own compensation plan!  "Uh, we dunt know whut happened".  Sounds to me like they don't know their nose from the hole in the ground!!

I say all that to say that most of the MLM's out there lack ethics and integrity, and clearly represent a classic pyramid scheme according to the Vemma Judgement.

FTC, are you watching???   There are many victims of such greedy, unethical MLM Companies waiting for you to bring the hammer down on new regulations regarding this scandalous industry.  I believe the crumbling of the MLM empire has begun....  it's about time.

PLEXUS SLIM... DIDN'T GET ADVERTISED RESULTS?

WHAT YOU SIGN UP FOR MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU GET!  

The ingredients in the Plexus Slim CHANGED shortly after I joined October 2013, only no one bothered to tell me that little detail!  The testimonials I saw, heard and believed were based on a completely DIFFERENT product!  And they (the testimonials) remained on the corporate website and various facebook and blog sites, LONG after the product change.

Here's one of the "active ingredients" they removed:  oxypregnane steroidal glycoside 

This was directly from their website in 2013:

Appetite management — Oxypregnane steroidal glycoside is a benign plant extract. Several varieties of the plant exist, however, one species in particular exhibits extraordinary appetite management qualities.
Oxypregnane Steroidal GlycosideThe hypothalamus is the part of the brain that regulates certain metabolic processes and other activities of the autonomic nervous system. It synthesizes and secretes neuro-hormones, often called hypothalamic-releasing hormones, and these in turn stimulate or inhibit the secretion of pituitary hormones. Its basic function is to control body temperature, hunger, thirst, fatigue, anger and circadian cycles (the body's clock).
When food is consumed, blood sugar (glucose) levels increase, prompting the body to start sending signals to the brain that it is full. This causes the hypothalamus region of the brain to cease sending out signals that the body needs a further source of energy. Scientists in cooperation with the British company Phytopharm isolated a steroidal glycoside active ingredient they designated as P57. They discovered that the brain interprets the molecules in the chemical structure of P57 as molecules of glucose. This has the same effect on the hypothalamus as consuming large quantities of food.
The unique steroidal glycoside extract used in Plexus Slim is estimated to be 100,000 times more potent than glucose, so as soon as it is sensed by the hypothalamus, the body is 'told' that it is full, thus inhibiting overeating."
